Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

We look forward to getting your tea to you!  

  • Handling times - generally, orders are shipped out within three days of your order.  If we are still working on blending a tea type that you've ordered, we will contact you to let you know that your purchase is being custom-blended just for you, which can take an extra day or two.  

  • Shipping service types:  We use USPS Priority Mail to ship to you.  This takes 3-7 business days, depending on where you live.  If you need your package faster, please choose Priority Mail Express, which will take 2-3 business days (we're on an island, so USPS needs an extra day).

  • International shipping:  at this time, we are unable to offer international shipping due to the speed and unreliability of some customs agencies around the world.  If it's a critical tea situation (we get it!) call us and we'll try to work something out.

  • Flat rate shipping:  We offer free shipping on orders over $70.   Shipping of orders lower than $70 are the current USPS flat rates for tea and $14.95 for ceramic ware.  Please contact us if you have questions.

  • Delivery timeframes - as above, generally orders are shipped out within two days of your order.

Return & Exchange Policy

Something wrong?   Please contact us - we absolutely want to make it right and we apologize that there was a problem.  And thank you again for your order - we're grateful to you for supporting our small family farm. 


Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or refunds for tea as it is a food item.  For other merchandise, we can accept return requests for items that are unused, with the original labeling still intact. The product(s) must be in their original packaging, in the same condition it was sent.  We must receive your return within 30 days of the date you received your item.


Once we receive the returned item, will send you an email to confirm that we’ve received it and are processing your request. 

If approved, the money will be refunded to your original method of payment within two weeks. All payment companies are different in the amount of time it takes to confirm a payment, so it will likely take a minimum of a few days for the refund to show up in your bank or credit card statement.



In the unlikely event that you receive a damaged or defective item, we want to make it right and exchange the item for a new one. Please email us within 30 days of receiving your product to let us know and start the return process.

Return shipping

After you’ve submitted a return request to us, please mail the product back in its original packaging.  You are responsible for paying for the return shipping costs. 

Final sale

If the item is marked “final sale”, it does not qualify for return and cannot be refunded.

Insurance for a shipment to you

If you’ve ordered and are shipping an item over $100, please consider purchasing shipping insurance to ensure it arrives at your doorstep.
